BPESA is South Africa's foremost advocate and contact point for the Global Business Services (GBS) & BPO sector, catering to both national and international markets.

As the national trade body and industry association, our mission is to promote South Africa as a premier offshoring destination, stimulate local job creation, FDI and ensure excellence in service delivery and management across the GBS sector including CX, BPO, Digital and Professional & Shared Services sector.

In collaboration with members, private sector, industry, national government the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic), InvestSA and social partner Harambee, we work collectively to: 

  • Market South Africa as an attractive offshoring destination
  • Empower Youth through the prioritisation of job creation and employment
  • Unify Industry by supporting quality service delivery and coordination across the sector

 As a not-for-profit member-driven organisation, BPESA supports both domestic and foreign investments in the GBS and BPO Sector, encompassing BPO, CX, Digital, and Professional & Shared Services. We offer:

  • Market Insights: Providing valuable market intelligence and research.
  • Skills Development: Strategically fostering and managing the implementation of required upskilling initiatives. Focused on up-skilling, re-skilling and future-skilling our talented workforce. 
  • Industry Collaboration: Mobilising stakeholders to support sustainable and scalable growth through industry activities and knowledege sharing forums with a focus on demand stimulation contributing to the growth and transformation of the economy.
