BPESA INDUSTRY AWARDS CELEBRATE TOP PERFORMERS
- June 15, 2017
The City of Cape Town played host to the 2016 BPESA National Industry Awards which took place on Saturday, 15th October, at the CTICC.
The BPESA Industry Awards continue to shine the spotlight on South Africa’s growing talent pool, honouring companies and individuals who continue to excel. This year saw an overwhelming increase in the number of entries which nearly doubled in comparison to last year.
Moulin Rouge themed, this year’s event provided a fitting showcase of glitz and glamour.
Guests came in their numbers as this year’s event hosted 600 guests from across the BPO community and local government. Showcasing more than just their stellar customer-centric skills that have positioned South Africa as one of the world’s top BPO destinations, attendees fittingly complemented the theme of the evening with red and black attire.
City of Cape Town Councillor Xanthea Limberg opened proceedings and welcomed guests by highlighting the City of Cape Town’s commitment to growing the industry and developing skills in the BPO sector.
Jubilation filled the iconic venue as winners across the different award categories celebrated their achievements. Big winners on the night were Capfin and WNS who scooped 12 awards between them which included Best Skills Development and Best International Outsourced Contact Centre Mega, respectively.
BPESA would like to thank all of our sponsors and partners, City of Cape Town, WNS, Contact Centre World, Webhelp, Tshwane BPO Park, Bytes, Capita, EXL, Capfin and Ask Osca, for their continued support and commitment to developing the industry’s talent pool.
