The Cape Town International Convention Centre was alight with talent and celebration as the annual BPESA GBS Alchemy Awards 2023 illuminated the night on November 9th. The glittering gala dinner, a culmination of excellence and innovation, showcased not just professional designations but also the artistic prowess discovered through SA’s Got GBS Talent Search.

In a quest to unearth talents that transcend traditional boundaries, the spotlight shone brightly on artists from across the country. Among the night's most stunning performances was the Nutun choir, a representation of voices in unity.

Adding to the phenomenal synchronistic display of vocal excellence was the crescendo for the evening when legendary songstress, Vicky Sampson, orchestrated a surprise entrance, enchanting both the audience and the Nutun Choir. As the choir began their rendition of ‘My African Dream,’ the stage became a canvas for an electrifying collaboration. Vicky Sampson, originator of the beautiful musical piece emerged from the crowd and joined the choir in an impromptu performance, delivering an experience that transcended expectations and left an indelible mark on not  only the choir members and the esteemed songstress herself, but the guests attending the annual event.
