The Department of Trade and Industry (Dti) is pursuing a new project to bolster jobs for SA’s youth.
The Global Service Incentive (GBS) launched on 1 January 2019 will create jobs for South African youth.
Malebo Mabitje Thompson, deputy director-general at the Dti, joins the team to discuss the Global Service Incentive, launched on January 1. The incentive aims to increase the labour absorption rate by up to 500 000 jobs in five to 10 years.
