NEW BPESA EXCO AND INTERIM CEO

BPESA is pleased to announce the appointment of a new National Executive Committee and an interim CEO.
We are excited that Andy Searle has accepted the nomination to take on the role of Interim CEO, with effect 10th November 2017, until a permanent placement is made. This is an endorsement of the sterling work Andy has been carrying out over the past months. He will join the following people in the new National Executive Committee:
- Johann Kunz – Representing the International Operators
- Rogan Davies – Representing the Domestic Operators and Suppliers
- Alicia Kistan – Representing Shared Service Operators
- Candice Roberts – Representing Gauteng
- Robin Hoekstra – Representing KZN
- Gareth Pritchard – Representing the Western Cape
- Evan Jones – Responsible for BPESA Strategic Partner relationships
- Reshni Singh – Representing the dti
Andy will also take responsibility for the Skills portfolio while the Marketing Portfolio will be managed by the collective of: Gareth Pritchard, Candice Roberts, Robin Hoekstra, Johann Kunz and Reshni Singh. Dean Hoff will join the Marketing portfolio meetings (as a non-Exco member) to ensure optimal alignment between BPESA and the dti wrt investment promotion activities.
The BPESA transition Committee will continue its work of planning and managing the transition into the new BPESA Operating model and will report to the EXCO until this work is complete in February 2018.
Future communications will be managed by Andy and the EXCO members as per their respective portfolio responsibilities. You will receive regular communications via newsletters and the website, while EXCO members will engage with their portfolio stakeholder groups on a both a structured and ad-hoc basis moving forward.
Please also note that in our newsletter from August we informed you that Gareth Pritchard would be stepping down as CEO of BPESA Western Cape. This decision has been reversed and Gareth will continue in that role.
