FSP Holiday Wishes 2022

FSP Header

Our Future Skills Team would like to take the opportunity to extend our sincere gratitude for your support in adopting the Future Skills Platform in 2022. The Platform has come a long way since GoLive on 4 May 2022 and reflecting on the year’s progress fills us with great pride. We set out with large and substantive targets to drive real change in the lives of young South Africans but importantly to start supporting the Global Business Services sector with its growth and maturity of capabilities across all segments including Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Shared Services (SS), Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) and Digital services.

The Future Skills Platform is a key supply side enabler identified in the GBS sector master plan and is a collective and collaborative effort to scale quality, relevant, adorable, accessible, and inclusive upskilling, reskilling, and future skilling opportunities for all sector beneficiaries. The mobilisation of the Platform and the traction the platform is now gaining in terms of adoption and engagement would not be possible without your committed and trusting support.

A reflection on progress statistics for the Future Skills Platform since 4 May 2022:
- We have garnered great funding support expanding from our single seed funder to four funding partners
- We have grown from 1 adopting company to 12 since May
- We have grown from ~50 learners in May to >4,000 registered FSP learners to date
- +450 of our FSP learners have transitioned into permanent employment
- We have grown our existing NASSCOM Future Skills and EdCast content library to the extent where our content team have created +60 structured learning journeys and +460 pathways of learning content
- At our peak of content publishing (month-on-month) our team exceeded 4,800 pieces of published content
- Perhaps User Activity data to showcase learners accessing additional content?
- To date, our platform boasts +32,400 pieces of content (articles, videos, pathways, blogs, quizzes, text, training, polls, courses, assessments, slides, other)

We look forward to the 2023 year ahead. Our Platform will be scaling up to support 20,000 excluded youth and existing GBS staff with agile skilling solutions from the expansive GBS skills ecosystem all integrated into one unified environment for learning which can be used as a plug-in-and-play or as your core learning technology.

As we draw near to the festive season, our team would like to assure you as our partners and clients that the platform operations will continue uninterrupted throughout the December period with dedicated support from our platform management team.
