ITWeb: SA’s Contact Centres Rival India’s Market Dominance

Excellent coverage on ITWeb of South Africa's recent performance in the annual 2020 Front Office BPO Omnibus Survey conducted by global firm Ryan Strategic Advisory.
The survey included feedback from 540 Senior decision-makers on behalf of 240 businesses which represented 42 countries across multiple sectors.
This is the third year in a row that SA has consistently taken second place! This year second to India and ahead of the Philippines.
Factors contributing to SA's favourability include:
- Cost, an attractive price point including cost of labour, real estate, taxes and sector-specific government incentives;
- Labour availability and linguistic skills;
- Business climate;
- Health and safety.
