WC : Q3 Skills Forum (10h00 - 12h00)

BPESA hosts its third round of skills forums for 2019 - Johannesburg (15^th August), Durban (19^th August) and Cape Town (21^st August).

These forums will be used to review and provide feedback on the GBS five-year skills strategy, which has been drafted and is in the iterative review process. Key elements to review include:

Pivoting for the future: Ensuring skills for current and future growth needs of the sector, are a priority focus for BPESA

 

• Demand side dynamics
• Roles, Competencies and Critical Skills
• Skills Supply chain and role-players
• Ecosystem and Macro environment
• Strategic initiatives and roadmap
• Engagement and Governance

 

We will also be discussing: changes to the SETA structures; BPESA plans for professional bodies; progress with the updating of the critical skills list; and the National List of Occupations in High Demand.
