Mark Harris

Vice President: Business Development MEA (Middle East & Africa), IBM
Mark Harris currently serves as Vice President, MEA (Middle East and Africa) Business Development, a role he assumed in July 2010. In this role, he is responsible for IBM’s expansion into Africa and acquisitions. Prior to this Mark was CEEMEA (Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa) Business Development & Africa Geo Expansion, a role he assumed in July 2009.
Harris was President of the American Chamber of Commerce in South Africa through 2004, and also served as a member of the board of directors for some years. He also served as a non-executive director on the board of Business Against Crime (BAC) until November 2008. Harris currently serves as Chairman of the board of BPeSA (Business Process enabling South Africa) previously known as SACCCOM; he is a Trustee of the Thabo Mbeki Children’s Education Fund; he also serves as a member of the Rhodes University - Department of Information Systems Advisory Board; the University of Fort Hare Department of Information Systems Advisory Board; University of Pretoria Advisory Board - Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment & Information Technology; he is the Chairman of the WITS ICT Advisory Committee and is also Patron of the JCSE. He is a formal mentor for aspiring executives in the community. Harris holds a BSc degree from Wits University with microbiology and chemistry as majors.
Sizwe Mbanjwa

Sizwe is a General Manager at Trade and Investment KwaZulu Natal (TIKZN) responsible for investment promotion for the BPS&O, ICT&E, Tourism, Property Development, Automotive and Metals sectors. He serves on the Provincial Committee responsible for large catalytic projects with potential of being globally competitive within the tourism sector. He also serves in the board subcommittee for Sharks Board KZN and as a Board member for KZN Electronics cluster. He holds an MBA from UKZN.

Tim is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Trifecta Capital and is responsible for the oversight and strategy of the company across all its divisions. Trifecta has offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and London, and services Corporate and Public Sector clients in South Africa, UK and other english speaking countries. Trifecta has four divisions; Revenue Management, Asset Return, Shareholder Administration and Consulting. Tim is also Chairman of BPeSA Gauteng and holds several board positions with private sector companies in South Africa, UK and the USA. He holds a BA from St Lawrence University in the United States.
Petrus Cornelius (“Nelis”) Swart
Chief Operations Officer ADCORP MCom
Nelis acquired his MCom from the Free State University in 2004. He joined Adcorp Holdings Limited in March of 1999, initially as Managing Director of Quest Staffing Solutions. Nelis became the Divisional Director for Flexible Staffing in 2002 and was subsequently promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2007. Prior to joining Adcorp, Nelis was the Commercial Director of Beier Industries (Pty) Limited in KwaZulu-Natal. He was also employed by Deloitte & Touche as well as Byrne Fleming during his seven years in the management consulting industry. Nelis lectured at the University of Pretoria and was at the same time a co-founder of the marketing research company, Konsulta (Pty) Ltd.
