Eddie Funde – Chairman

Sonwabo Eddie Funde is the nonexecutive chairman of the SA Broadcasting Corp (SABC), the national broadcaster.  Funde is also the executive chairman of Kemilinks International SA and president of the SA Communications Forum . He is a director of Murray & Roberts and Eskom and chairman of the National Institute for Economic Policy and the board of trustees of the Independent Development Trust.  He has been deputy chairman of the SA Telecommunications Authority and chairman of the Telecommunications Regulators Association of SA.

 
  Mfanu Mfayela – Executive Director
Mfanu has worked in strategic positions covering business and product development, business strategy and project management across a range of sectors. He was the founder and publisher of "The Industry of Call Centres and CRM", a premier call centre publication in SA. He is a Registered COPC Coordinator who has had COPC training in India and the US (COPC, Customer Operations Performance Centre - an international call centre accreditation standard/body). He was also a task team member of the ICT Charter Empowerment Working Group.
 
  Bulelwa Koyana – Executive Director
 
Bulelwa Koyana is the Chief Executive Officer of newly established company, Lathitha Contact Centres. Previously she was a Regional General Manager for Direct Sales Channels at South African Airways. Prior to this she held various positions within SAA.  Before joining SAA, she worked as a Student Affair Co-ordinator at Vaal Career College and as a Social Worker for the Eastern Cape Government.  She serves on the boards of BPeSA  (South African Contact Centre Community), Emmanuels Advance and African Dream Family Church.
 
  Karl Socikwa – Executive Director
 
Karl practised as an attorney in Durban and Johannesburg before joining Transtel as General Counsel in1995. After holding several operational positions and serving as Deputy CEO from 1999 Karl was appointed CEO of Transtel in April 2001.  In September 2005 Karl was also appointed to head the Restructuring unit of Transnet primarily responsible for closure, transfer and disposal of all non-core businesses and investments of the Group. He serves as director on the boards of numerous companies.
   
 
Nelis Swart – Executive Director
 

Nelis Swart lectured in Strategic and Financial Management at the University of Pretoria. He was also a co-founder of a consulting and marketing research company and has worked with Deloitte & Touche as well as Byrne Fleming. Prior to his appointment as Managing Director of Quest Flexible Staffing Solutions, he was the commercial director of Beier Industries in KwaZulu-Natal.

   
  Tracey Czakan – Executive Director
Played a leading role in Kelly’s involvement in contact centre staffing since 1994 as well as wide participation in industry activities. Directed and strategically led Kelly’s positioning as a leading people specialist within the contact centre industry. Directly involved in South Africa’s efforts to position itself as a destination of choice for international outsourced contact centre and BPO staffing including participating in Team SA and attending overseas contact centre expo’s (Birmingham since 2003, India 2004, Chicago 2004 etc.).

Wide network within the contact centre industry and has been involved in the setting up of a wide range of on-shore and off-shore contact centres. Also regularly meets with international visitors and potential investors.
   
  Angus Brown – Executive Director
Angus Brown is currently the CEO of FNB Contact Centres. He was one of the founders of eBucks.com, and was the CEO of that business in 2003 & 2004. Since then he has led FNB’s Internet, Cellphone and Telephone Banking business areas. He is also a director of the Joburg Centre for Software Engineering at Wits, and holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Geophysics.
   
  Nkenke Nathaniel Kekana – Executive Director

  Suleman Shaik – Executive Director

Suleman Shaik, 38, is Founder and Chief Executive of Direct Channel Holdings, Africa’s largest outsource contact centre. He started the company in August 2001 after spending almost 10 years in the direct marketing and relationship marketing industry. His career includes senior management positions Standard Bank Insurance Brokers, Sonnenburg, Murphy, Leo Burnett and Fedsure Holdings. From just 10 staff in 2001, Direct Channel will employ almost 2000 staff by year-end 2006. With aggressive plans to expand into Africa, Suleman’s aim is to make Direct Channel the largest, most respected outsource contact centre operating on the African continent.
